A nostalgic complication of one of the most popular 90s cult series – Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Growing up with the likes of Buffy and the Charmed sisters, my expectations were high, making me rather nervous for this show. However, I was not disappointed in the slightest.

This is a one man show with Brendan Murphy as the one and only character. He takes us through all 7 seasons of Buffy in 70 minutes from the perspective of Spike! He manages to condense the seasons cleverly and make it really funny throughout. You will be amazed at how much of the plots he covers in this time.

To add to the humour of the show, Brendan does some funny and accurate impersonations of key characters and explores some of the ridiculous plot twists which until you view the series as an adult, goes right over your head! He says what we are all thinking and mocks these in a tasteful manner.

In addition to the acting, there are some banging 90s tunes, reworded to fit the show. There is some audience participation but very minimal. If you don’t want to be part of it, avoid the front. However, no one is made to feel uncomfortable. The show really does make you feel like you have just sat and watched all seasons in 70 minutes!

I absolutely loved this show! Exceeded my expectations and I was delighted, it took me back to my early teens. The audience was full with people of all ages who clearly appreciated the series at the time or seen it after. A must see for Buffy fans!
