If you’re looking for a group night out, then this is the one for you. Held at the Palais du Variete, Assembly George Square Gardens, it’s not to be missed.

Performed by the aptly titled “Rockstar Weekend” ; the band play hit after hit from the 80’s and 90’s and we all dance and sing along to some cracking tunes. The age range of the crowd is vast but somehow this show caters for everyone.

There’s a massive screen above the band playing the music videos and displaying the lyrics to each song. What it highlighted to me is that I’ve been singing the wrong words to a lot of songs for a long time!!

There’s a real party atmosphere and the band do a fantastic job keeping the crowd entertained and plenty have dressed up for the occasion. There’s lots of spandex, leg warmers and big hair on display along with light up head gear which just adds to the vibe.

If there’s a group of you looking for a great way to round off a night at the Fringe, then get a ticket for this gig, it’s a lot of fun and a damn good laugh.
