I saw Ignacio Lopez last year for the first time and very much enjoyed his show. This year he’s back with a bigger venue, a new set (work in progress) and an air conditioning unit!

He’s late arriving at this years Fringe as he’s just been Best man at his brothers wedding. In fact much has happened since his last visit to Edinburgh including performing “Live at the Apollo” amongst other things.

His new material is very funny, a journey through his early years and how he got into doing stand up. This Spanish Welshman has worked his way up from working men’s clubs in south Wales to performing regular gigs on the London comedy circuit and beyond.

I’d like to see more of his musical comedy develop as it’s very funny indeed and we only saw a little bit at the end of the show. Although it may be a work in progress, he’s got brilliant material to call upon.

The Patter hoose was sold out the night I was there, and we all had a great time. Definitely one to catch before the end of the Fringe.
