In a packed Underbelly, George Square, our choir masters take to the stage. It’s clear from the outset that we are all here to be part of the show, in fact we are the show.

Daveed & Nobu get us up on our feet and we are soon warming up our vocals. This Canadian pair are witty and charming and before we know it we are singing songs from the movies.

But this isn’t bad karaoke, we are harmonising and being taught and encouraged to find our range. The audience are split up to perform different parts of each song and it begins to get quite competitive as we try to impress our hosts with our melodic talents.

Theres a fair bit of audience participation and we are all invited onto the stage to perform the finale! It feels a little like group therapy.

It’s a superb show and we all had a great time. So go and check this crowd pleaser out, especially if you think you’ve got a decent voice. It’s joyous and great entertainment even if it feels like we do all the work!
