007 Voices of Bond 5*****

| On 24, Aug 2024

Brought to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, by Night Owl Productions, Voices of Bond was way more than a tribute to the infamous Bond theme songs.

Stunning vocals, powerful and theatrical, accompanied by electric guitars and young genius playing the drums provides the audience with a powerful performance. Once seen never forgotten!

The Symposium Hall was stacked out mid afternoon and apparently this is usual for Voices of Bond everyday during the fringe.

The show started with a bang as the female vocalist immaculately and passionately makes a grand entrance in her red sparkly gown. She confidently opens the show with ‘diamonds are forever’ Shirley Bassey.

Followed by one of my personal favourites from ‘ The spy who loved me’ Sheena Easton’s ‘For your eyes only’ sent shivers down my spine as she hit all of the notes to perfection.

Following this the guitarist took over the vocals with a Duran Duran classic ‘Living Daylights.’ I was instantly transported back to the late 80’s and nostalgic didn’t cut it!

The audience looked so happy with lots of singing along and people dancing in their seats.

‘Live and let die’ was another hit with the audience performance was truly rocky!!

Something for everyone in this performance. 50 minutes passed in a flash leaving you wanting more!

Over 20 years of ‘Bond’ songs summarised stunningly!
