Pramkicker 4**** - One4Review

Pramkicker is a contemporary drama about young women choosing whether or not to have children and what it means to be a woman without children.
Both of the performers are brilliant. Ella Ironside plays Jude aka ‘pramkicker’ who is taking anger management classes after kicking a pram down the stairs whilst queueing for coffee. Her energy fills the stage with a tightly wound ball of ill targeted rage. She’s a real talent and one to watch out for in the future. Amy Dallas gives delightful comic echo to the telling of the pram kicking tale, as Suzie, Jude’s devoted younger sister. Though she also has a vulnerability and emotional depth in her own decision making about motherhood.
It’s a great piece of drama that packs an emotional punch and really deserves a bigger audience. As painful as the 9.55am start time is, It’s definitely worth getting out of bed for.
