Sarah Borges covers of popular Lady Gaga songs do not disappoint. Sarah, born in Portugal, has the sweetest most alluring voice. Show stopping entrance in glittery attire and fun sparkly specs added a sense of fun and playfulness to her performance.

Moving between piano and guitar keeps the set so interesting whilst she dazzles the audience with her voice and her outfit!!

‘Bad Romance’ is sung with such energy and enthusiasm Sarah does not hold back and everyone was encouraged to sing along.

Sarah’s energy and confidence are magnetic as she works her way through the songs of Gaga. Regularly she checks in with her audience making little jokes and keeping everyone involved throughout this performance.

Songs from the film ‘A star is born’ were particularly unforgettable. ‘Million Reasons’ stood out to me as she hit the high notes with no holding back!!

I actually preferred Sarah’s voice, for many of the tracks, to Lady Gagas versions. Sarah sang so in tune and with her own take on the songs and natural flare which appeared to draw the audience in throughout. People tapping their feet and almost dancing in their chairs, couples linked in and hugging to the romantic and melancholy songs.

Furthermore, the gorgeous Dirty Martini room in Le monde has a lovely glamorous feel to it with low lighting, dark walls and chandeliers. Comfy seating with the best ambience – this venue is a show stopper for an Edinburgh Fringe show.

Sarah has a pretty special talent and a stunning voice despite looking nothing like Lady Gaga she owns the songs with her style. I for one will be going to see her again next year. This performance attracts all ages groups and it is easy to see why….

Not to be missed whilst you sip a cocktail from the bar – I recommend the Cosmopolitan – perfection.
