Eddy Hare’s comedy show This One’s On Me is a delightful blend of dry wit and wry observations, marking him as a promising new talent in the comedy scene. At 31 years old, Hare describes himself as an “early bloomer” with a unique perspective on the often-overlooked anxieties of early adulthood. One of the show’s standout segments involves his humorous take on the panic of premature hair loss. His self-deprecating humour and sharp insights transform what could be a mundane subject into a relatable and laugh-out-loud experience.

Another highlight is his take on being an uncle—a role Hare approaches with a mix of pride and bemusement. He skilfully contrasts his own experience with the uncles he grew up with, making light of the generational differences that define his family dynamics. He has a lovely presence on stage and the audience really warmed to his very personal and observational style.

With his dry, wry sense of humour, Hare delivers a performance that is both subtle and impactful, never relying on cheap laughs.
