Isabella Charlton- So my dad F****d the Nanny 4.5**** - One4Review

Isabella Charlton is a charming, well-spoken international comedian who delivers a sublime performance with her story telling, inuendo comedy and facial expressions that make you laugh.
She tells the story in her own way of when they lived in London, her father who was a barrister and her mother who was a lawyer and how they met. She speaks about her father being a bit of a philanderer in his day and his methods to seduce women are certainly strange but funny at the same time. As the title suggests, things around the family home were not as settled as you would expect. When her mother began to suspect her father was having an affair, she sets about leaving subtle clues in a bid to discover the truth. She discovers intimate texts but is advised she would need further evidence if she wanted a firm divorce. With the assistance of an audience member, Isabella reads out some of the texts in her own hilarious and quirky way. When her mother finally catches them in the act, Isabella’s parents then separate. After a time in Hong Kong, Isabella discusses her own relationships in depth and how she struggles to commit and fall in love.
Isabella keeps the audience entertained throughout with her own style of comedy and the use of some visual aids but listening to her story as she goes from childhood, adolescence then adulthood is endearing at times with a hint of emotion which makes this show an all-round masterpiece with plenty hilarity on the way!
