Laura Rose is an Australian who grew up on a pineapple farm so with that on her CV it was almost written in the stars she would become a comedian!

In this intimate venue, no one can escape Laura’s gaze as she starts the show giving a bit of background into growing up on a pineapple farm. She jokes about pineapple farmers being on Tinder and who their ideal date would be. A school reunion always brings out the best or worst in people, she bumps into the school bully who first makes a confession before making an eyebrow raising yet hilarious threat which could end up detrimental to the pineapple crop! She also bumps into her husband at school who takes his time to pop the big question but not before falsely luring Laura into some hair-raising activities that she thought were going to be a prelude to a proposal! She is advised to stay pure to Jesus until marriage, but she manages to find an ingenious way around that dilemma! She is happily married but when she finds some grey hairs, her husband is all too happy to assist with removing them! She mentions ‘stuck porn’ but what made it funny was having to explain to the audience what it was!

It wouldn’t be right for an Australian comedian not to mention Emu’s at some point in the show and Laura does not disappoint, her story about an amorous Emu and the actions she does have the audience laughing uncontrollably. She ends the show discussing food poisoning and the messy predicaments that follow.

Laura Rose is a funny and entertaining comedian who keeps the audience laughing throughout her show, she deserves to have a bigger audience as I’m sure as her popularity grows, she would have no problem filling a bigger venue.
