This is a very funny show and Neil Delamere is engaging and instantly likeable with his cheeky Irish persona.

The good news is that this will absolutely be a different show each night. Neil is a naturally funny talented storyteller but it is his interaction with his audience that is hilarious and at the heart of this show. The front row are easy pickings for Neil’s razor sharp wit and the array of professions in the audience tonight is a gift to Neil. Let’s just say that there appears to be no one in tonight that is in a ‘caring’ profession!

We hear stories of living in Ireland and the subtle or not so subtle differences between living in England versus Ireland.

It is easy to see why Neil is a big star in Ireland and a mystery as to why he hasn’t joined his fellow Irish comedians into the mainstream with more high profile UK TV appearances.

Neil is a Fringe veteran having made his debut in 2004. He is a stand up in the traditional style and in his presentation. There is nothing revolutionary here but equally nothing seems contrived. He is just a naturally funny performer who, the temperature in the room aside and he did compare it to doing stand up in a sauna, makes it seem effortless.
