She’s the girl in high school who runs the show, mean as hell, spoiled rotten and knows it. Sophie Garrad is older now, but she’s still as shallow and superficial, with added posh in her hilarious show, “Poor Little Rich Girl”. She’s amassed a pretty big online following, performing little sketches on TikTok & Instagram, but this full-blown hour-long show is a beauty. You’ll want to dislike her so much, but her brand of humour is so good, you can’t help but to enjoy her smack downs.
Any opportunity to brutalise, she pounces on it, her ability to rip into her family, her friends, the audience, is magnificent. Just the right amount of bitchiness, with a side of detached cold heartedness. Not everyone in her family is from money though, but they’ve accumulated it, by hook or by crook (dad). Raised by nannies and ignored by her parents, this has shaped this young influencer into a botox filled tornado, who’s ready to take on the world.
If Mean Girls, The Musical is looking for someone to play Regina George, look no further, because This Poor Little Rich Girl would be the perfect fit.
