Jerome Wright is the older man in this foursome, he stands erect and introduces us to the characters and the time. We meet Gemskii the older woman, his wife, Leann O’Kasi the younger woman, his daughter, and Dan Morgan the younger man who is ‘sniffing’ after the daughter. We are guided through time following the same family unit as they develop from apes to modern day humans. We watch as they discover tools, language, love, sex, dance, gods and science. Presented by Pleasance’s Charlie Hartill Special Reserve, written and directed by Richard Marsh. This imaginative piece of theatre is well-written and great fun to watch. It is imaginative and innovative and audience and cast seem to enjoy the whole experience. ****
