The first time I saw Adam Hills was in 2001 with his show ‘Go You Big Red Fire Engine’which is when I got carried away and became a firm fan. Since then I have managed to see him every Fringe and it mystifies me why he hasn’t won one of those dreaded awards, dreaded in that usually after winning one we don’t see the winner again for years if at all (with one or two exceptions). Part of my excuse for wanting to see him is that every good Sheila enjoys a couple of good Aussie jokes!

Apart from reminding us and rephrasing ‘Go You Big Red Fire Engine’ his attention turned to ‘The Disney Corporation’. With one or two surprising policies, the way I think of the mouse and its attitudes to the sick and disabled frankly disappointed me. Apparently no Disney character is allowed to be photographed with anyone who is either ill or has a disability, yet they are allowed to ping bra straps? Well that is what happened to me!

Adam however is selling ‘Go You Big Red Fire Engine’ t-shirts of which all the profit goes to a charity.

He is a hilarious, hunk ,whose, humour has me haunting him hannually (silent h).
