There is a recommendation for a laid back chilled way to start off on an early Fringe afternoon and that is with a visit to The Green Room for a low tech engaging show of story telling hosted and led by Andrew J Lederer, the title of this is of course Anthology 07. The format is that Lederer introduces the concept of the show and tells a story or two of his own before introducing a selection of guests to relate anecdotal stories of their own. The preview performance I saw had Jessica Delfino, also performing at The Green Room in her own show Songs about Vaginas, with some recollections of growing up in Maine and air travel, comedian Rick Shapiro, also at The Green Room and closing with Sarah Bennetto an Aussie with some embarrassing stories of her own. Obviously the line-up will vary daily, and to a certain extent the quality will depend on the guests, however I’m sure that with Andrew our engaging host in charge of preceding it will never fail to interest and entertain.
