This show in essence is a n amalgamation of Alice in Wonderland, Pygmalion and William Strunk Jr. & EB White’s classic American text in "Elements of Style" 1999. Alice (Elana Fruchtman) is struggling with her essay. Much as I am with this review! She however has the help of E. B. Whyte (Adam Howard) and a copy of his original book on the rules of word use and punctuation ‘The Elements of Style’ to help her on her quest. I however ,do not. Neither do I have the assistance of the rest of the cast Nick Cuse, Susanna Wolk, Nick Merrill, Natalie Margolin, Alex Steiner, Ava Kofman, Zack Goldman and Chet Tyson with Jake Staahl on Keyboards. I empathise completely with Alice as she "Struggles with getting every word just right, getting every comma in the right place, and avoiding the use of ‘so’ to mean ‘very’". Oh I need help! Not so the cast who perform beautifully with evident ease. An interesting hours viewing. ***
