Mervyn Stutter's Pick of the Fringe  - One4Review

I can’t remember how many years this show has been running at the Fringe, it seems like for ever but it is a popular as ever as people come time after time, year after year to see what can really be described as The Pick of the Fringe. Where as other shows major on comedy, this one includes theatre, dance, music and dance as well as comedy and gives a short taster of all genres. Merv opens the show with a bit of comedy and one of his trademark comedy interpretations of songs before introducing seven different acts. The acts that were on the bill for the show I saw were ‘ Just like a Woman Barb Jungr playing at Queens Hall Jarlath Reagan  at GB Teviot I shot Dirty Den by Pavel Douglas at Underbelly Six Wives of Timothy Leary at Pleasance Dome Seven Sins James Judd at GB Teviot Mark Oliver at Underbelly Ricardo Garcia‘s Flamenco, Flamenco at Pleasance Dome. Of course the line-up will vary from day to day, so it is definitely worth going to see more than once, even if it is to only marvel at Merv’s new jacket. ****
