Michael Legge and Johnny Candon are both successful stand-ups in their own rights and together as King of Everything they provided a wonderfully shambolic hour of sketch comedy as a part of the Five Pound Fringe. With sketches loosely held together by the premise that Michael and Johnny have accidentally killed someone and the police are on the way, and with the body count racking up as the show continues, subject matter includes customer service, John Lennon & George Harrison’s conversations in heaven, sex changes and even Michael and Johnny’s romantic relationship. Funny, entertaining and slightly bonkers in equal measure, for a fiver you really can’t go wrong with King of Everything.  ****
