Lady Garden are collectively Hannah Dodd, Beattie Edmondson, Rose Johnson, Jessica Knappett, Eleanor Thom and Camille Ucan a six strong troupe of sketch comedy performers who are gracing the Fringe for 2009 their second year of performing. I saw last years show and thought these ladies had potential, so was keen to see if with a further twelve months under their collective belts had raised the quality of their show. I am pleased to say I was totally impressed with this years performance. They produced around seventeen sketches, some short, others much more developed, within their hour, spread the work load throughout, and although some sketches were definitely better than others all were of a sufficiently high quality and the show pace never faltered, to make this an excellent way to spend an hour in the early evening time slot. On this showing I’m sure it won’t be too long before TV beckons, and I for one would be only too happy to watch. Check them out before they are famous, you know it makes sense, but be quick, they are selling out daily so you better be quick off the mark.   ****
