A Theory of Justice:The Musical! - One4Review

An interesting concept of time-travelling to meet various philosophers to come up with a theory of justice, with an aim to educate as well as entertain. However it fell down at that first hurdle because unless you are already ‘educated’ in this area then you don’t have a scoobie what is going on. Famous (?) people are introduced rapidly and with no real clarity or background information on who they are or why they are famous. Very confusing.
There were lots of technical issues with people not standing in their lights, weak nasal singing and dodgy “musical theatre hand acting” gestures.
It wasn’t all bad though, good to have a live band and there were a couple of fun moments but overall unless you knew what was happening you’d be quite lost.
