There is nothing remotely funny about rape. Yet there are a number of comedians who do think it is fair game for material. And not just comedians, even American senators have waded in with some outrageous thoughts on the subject.

Adrienne Truscott is a funny and talented lady. As one half of the WauWau Sisters who in my opinion are a top class act she has showcased her skills for ages but I didn’t know she could do stand-up. She enters the arena half naked swilling back cans of Gin and tonic exaggerating the case that even in such straits she is not asking for it.

Staying in character throughout and using her stomach a screen various people are given a very different goatee she tackles the thorny issue and don’t even ask what she does with her rape whistle.

Ms Truscott pulls no punches but is eminently entertaining and it’s a bit ragged around the edges style in an intimate venue is the perfect setting for a show that should not be missed.
