Following last years unmitigated success at the Fringe comedian and singer Vikki Stone is back this year armed with her trusty piano and a series of slides, props and even special guests as she performs a non-stop musical and comedy hour to a packed house.

She is effervescent throughout this Philip Schofield fancier, but with a boyfriend on the scene this year has her crush waned? Or has she a new media fancy brewing?

Ms Stone is quite into the TV Talent Show genre and audience participation is required and has a few things to say on the subject and while her comedy is good, for me it’s the songs that are the hook the show hangs on and these are well up to the job. At times she reminded me of Victoria Wood, her bubbly personality and her comedy songs and that cannot be a bad thing.

The show is stuffed full of entertainment and no one at the performance I was at would have felt short changed, quite the opposite and I am sure she will be a top name for years to come. Certainly I will be looking forward to her next offering.
