Sam Rose in the Shadows 5***** - One4Review

Sam Rose in the Shadows 5*****

| On 10, Aug 2013

This was a beautiful story, told through, song, narrative and simple yet stunning puppetry. The cast were engaging and had the audience transfixed from the very start.

It is the story of Sam Rose and his box of sad things which must be carried around with him at all times, and try as he might, nothing he tries seems to work. The intervention of his 6 year old son gives him a different perspective and leads him on an altogether different path.

The story is well told and thoroughly enjoyable and a credit to all who helped produce it.

I would recommend this to an audience of all ages, you do not need to have children to see this, it is a beautiful story and a terrific addition to your Fringe experience.

Bedlam Theatre, Bristo Place.

August 2nd – August 24th, 12.00 (55 mins)
