Brought to us by the Burklyn Youth Ballet, this is the classic tale of Cinderella and is a perfect introduction to ballet performances for the young audience, although some of the younger members of the audience did seem to be getting a bit restless towards the end, the slightly older ones seemed to be in a trance of some kind.

The dance was beautiful and the costumes were eye-catching and fun and the story was easy to follow, the artistic director had been on stage prior to the performance with some helpful tips of what to look for in the way of communication,adding to the fun.

At the end of the show, the audience was invited down onto the stage to meet the cast members, which added to the experience for the children, there were many photo opportunities with Cinderella, Fairy Godmother and the ever lovely Ugly Sisters as well as the rest of the cast.

If you have children this is a lovely show to go to, if you don’t it’s an equally lovely morning out, the show is only with us for a week, so get along while you can!
