West Country lady Suzy Bennett brings her first full length show to the Fringe this year and it has been widely tipped to do well.

I saw her perform in the furnace that is the Pleasance Attic in a show that was is largely about her dare I say infatuation with Dancing on Ice and Torville & Dean, the ice references didn’t help much in the cooling stakes.

Suzy is determined to get on the show so needs to raise her profile to be asked to compete and she has a variety of way she hopes to achieve it, though not many would probably work so it seems.She also interlinks with this theme a little of her earlier life both in and out of the entertainment world and illustrates some of this with both pictures and video occasionally.

Ms Bennett has a good presentation style and bags of material in her hour, I would have liked to see how she went down with a larger audience than the show I saw.

So will she achieve her dream? Who knows, but whatever you do don’t leave before the finale
