Canal café Theatre have been producing the slickest show of it’s kind for 35 years now and it always can be relied upon the deliver the goods, poking fun at celebrities and Royals are fair game but the brunt of these smiling assassins is as always politicians.

This year’s performers, Naomi Bullock, Kieran Mortell, Katriona Perrett and Simon Prag are the able quartet that bring these ‘names’ to life in front of our very eyes lampooning one and all in an irreverent mix of sketches and their trademark reworking of popular songs to tell their stories with brief offstage news snippets to facilitate scene changes. Very clever writing of course is essential and this is here in abundance.

From the onset with a number about the Greek debt crisis, through Fox News, Hilary, Madonna, Princess Kate, Andy Murray and One D to the smorgasbord of politicians the pace and quality of this show never drops.

This troupe certainly keep up the long established traditions of their predecessors and as before it is a much sought after ticket so don’t delay, book your ticket while you can.
