Arr We There Yet? 4**** - One4Review

Do your little ones love pirates? Acrobats? Circus tricks? If so then head to the Underbelly’s Circus Hub on the Meadows. A trio of pirates set sail on their ship, the Red Rubber Duckie, and need our help to find the lost treasure.
The ship is crewed by three pirates: the cheeky one, the bossy one and the silly one. All are excellent performers. Whether they are juggling knives, doing back flips, miming or spinning in a giant hula-hoop, the three performers do so brilliantly.
Unlike many circus shows, they manage to stick to a storyline, albeit a loose one. This helps the audience stay focused instead of just watching a series of tricks. The banter between the trio and the audience is fantastic, and the adult humour is just at the right level.
The Circus Hub is a great venue. Early queuing is recommended to bag one of the front row seats. There are a couple of areas in the show that could be improved, but I don’t think the children would notice or mind. Suitable for children of all ages, it’s worth noting that children under two go free.
Overall, a fantastic circus experience for all the family.
