The Splash Test Dummies are back with an hour of circus tricks, belly laughs and downright silliness. The Australian trio are as wonderful as ever, and I don’t think I’ve seen children laugh so much at a show since the last time I saw them.
This show is clowning and circus skills at its best. We have juggling, unicycles, acrobats, water pistols, giant beach balls and much more. The slapstick comedy and clowning around is hilarious. As before, there is very little dialogue, instead they seamlessly move from one trick or laugh to another without there being any low points in the show. The guys get in amongst the audience, including “rescuing” unwilling members of the public. This was my daughter’s favourite part of the show although she was laughing the whole way through.
The chemistry between the three performers is incredible. The show is very similar to last year’s but that didn’t lessen our enjoyment of it. The hour flew past and to make it even better, the guys happily posed for photos with the kids after.
This show is suitable for kids of all ages, but grown-ups are guaranteed to enjoy it just as much. Another fantastic show – we’ll be back to see you again next year.
