Mitch Benn- The Point 4**** - One4Review

Mitch Benn- The Point 4****

| On 23, Aug 2023

Mitch Benn enters the stage to an old familiar but appropriate tune, Mr Benn. Guitar in hand, the Scottish/English festival veteran was raring to go.

So what is the point of comedy? Mitch gets going with a bit of country music, Mitch Benn style, a catchy tune to get everyone in the mood before taking us through the history of comedy.
Mitch performs his set with a mixture of self written short songs as he tries to get the point of comedy across..
It’s not all music as his quirky take on comedy and other issues like politics are amusing to listen to.

He cleverly discusses his point of view before backing it up with a song, the use of his own sound effects on repeat as the back beat compliments his guitar very well. With songs like Comedy saved Britain, Humour healing and woke as f**k, you can’t help but laugh along.

Mitch also uses various accents to compliment his show, including Scouse, American and broad Scots which he does amusingly well. He finishes up with a song laughing matters which is appropriate for this comedy show.

An experienced performance that has you singing along to the music!
