Circus Abyssinia:Ethiopian Dreams - 5***** - One4Review

| On 08, Aug 2017

The show opens with two young boys who are dreaming of joining the circus (which is made real by the Man in the Moon).
We are greeted by a troupe of performers bringing their infectious energy and enthusiasm as they dance onto the stage.
They proceed to provide to the most jaw dropping acrobatics, with the young boys bouncing, twirling and flying through the air as if it is the most natural thing in the world to do.
The girls take gymnastics to a whole new level as they contort their bodies into positions that you wouldn’t believe possible. They do this so gracefully that you almost miss the enormous amount of strength and skill required to do this.
During the course of the evening they build extraordinary rapport with the audience, whilst making somersaults, flips, spins, juggling and daredevil leaps look effortless. These guys are so inspiring, taking on these daredevil antics with such ease, despite the risks and danger they are putting themselves under.
A show like this doesn’t come around often so get your tickets before the Fringe is over. It’s an experience you won’t forget.
