Ed Gamble – Mammoth 4**** - One4Review

Ed Gamble – Mammoth 4****

| On 19, Aug 2017

With metal music Ed Gamble strides onto his stage and is at once into a story of his short career in a metal band in his youth and from that moment the tone of the hour is set. Gamble has a delightful way with words, his sections work beautifully and flow seamlessly into each other and of course are peppered with laugh out loud lines the stomach muscles start to get sore.
Touching on his incredible weight loss he talks at length of his private education, the London Marathon with some wicked observations that spawned, a recent tattoo, spinning classes with yummy mummies and how his body reacted while having a sports massage after a large meal. All of which were out of the top draw and I can imagine may well find their way onto TV in individual segments at some point I’m sure.
He has also a love for Halloumi cheese, likes the way he can always make babies laugh, or nearly always, how he would like to be a father one day mixed in with the problems of ‘admin’ with some sexual position, his girlfriend’s hair and potential hackers.
Gamble is a solid pair of hands and you would be taking no risk at all spending an hour in his company. Oh and do wait for the finale to see why he had a short metal career.
