Glenn Moore :- Glenn, Glenn, Glenn, How Do You Like It 4****

| On 08, Aug 2018

If there was an award as to how much material and gags a comic could pack into his hour then Moore would win it hands down.
This is the third time I have seen him in recent years and always wish I could record the show and play it back at half speed, because his machine gun delivery style is so full of comic gems that many are missed due to the laugh-out-loud nature of his comedy.
Moore so posh he always seems to be well dressed, which he really was, centres this year’s performance on the fact that he has never told the truth on stage prior to this year, but has he or is he still fibbing? He has signed up for a journey to Mars he says at the onset, and this story is one of the many call backs he uses during his set about pyjamas, surgeons, inept seductions, prison , Groundhog day, Tim Peake and free cinema tickets and a million other things all interspersed with misdirection and unexpected references
Moore has stage presence and charisma in a geeky kinda way but his self-deprecation really does hide a fertile comedy brain. He is already packing out his venue. It is not hard to see why.
