First of all, this is not a magic show but a Ninja show using playing cards. Who would have thought a simple pack of playing cards could be so dangerous. Not quite sure what Health and Safety would think as he flicks cards at lightening speed across the room. We are treated to a show demonstrating the skills of Distance, Control, Accuracy, Reaction, Power and Destiny. Javier Jarquin provides witty banter throughout. His interaction with the audience is brilliant in particular enrolling the help of Beth’s not quite appropriate playlist, which hilariously didn’t quite fit the drama of his Ninja demonstrations. There is something for the whole family as the kids will love the Ninja moves – in particular the grand finale whilst the adults will love his comical observations and quick one liners. Clearly Jarquin has had far too much time on his hands to come with such a unique performance with just a set of playing cards but this really works and would recommend you go and see it for yourself.
