Laura Davis is a refreshing comic with a wide array of topics, and takes on day to day life, that you definitely haven’t heard before, but, trust me, you want to now.

There is an overall sense of randomness to the show – from a little too much pausing, to asking us where our expectations of her are, to getting an audience member to start and end the show, and plenty of tangents in between.

Overall, however, this is the story of a bus journey, both the events and the thoughts that this inspired. They’re far from the stereotyped ‘funny thing happened to me on the way here’ tales, and keep you guessing – and laughing – all the way.

Animals, music, Facebook groups, a spot of politics, having children – they all get their own different, comic treatment, and the small, somewhat soggy Sunday evening audience lapped it up.

Her overall message was about knowing who you are and being OK with that. She certainly should be – she’s a comedian to watch out for.
