It is fair to say that Novellie is a commanding presence as he takes to his stage. Originally from South Africa by way of the Isle of Man, he wastes no time in starting off with a discourse on the British prevalence for wet food, be it gravy, vinegar, tomato sauce even biscuit dunking . He has analysed the processes used the opening ten minutes to show his comedic abilities and absolute mastery of words to get the crowd in stitches laughing as he verbally holds a mirror up to their seemingly unnecessary habits.

Flowing seamlessly from one section to the next Pierre has researched and orates on topics as diverse as charity gigs, mental health, ISIS videos, recycling, palm oil, the human body deficiencies, porn, the government and the possibility of having his British passport revoked. His internet browser history must be ringing alarm bells somewhere that’s for sure.

With Novellie you are always in a safe pair of hands. His delightfully written and immaculate laugh out loud hour is testament to the consummately professional performer he is. The are no histrionics, no posturing or preening with him, he has no need for such devices his ability speaks for itself;
