I’ve always enjoyed Frank Skinners brand of comedy and he has become a firm favourite of mine, so I was really looking forward to seeing him live.
In a packed Assembly at George Square, Frank held us all in the palm of his hand with his tales from having 30years in comedy and carving a very successful career out of it.
I wasn’t sure how this show was going to pan out as someone had brought their kids to be entertained for the evening, but this actually made his performance even more memorable and very funny. The fact they were in the front row gave him even more material to share.
This 1991 Perrier Award Winner had me and the crowd in hysterics, he has an amazing way of delivering his material and he sees humour in everything. Many of the best moments for me were completely off the cuff.
You should try and get a record deal for your sea shanty folk song, it’s an absolute belter.
This really is stand up at its finest, so do try and get a ticket as you won’t be disappointed. Congratulations Frank Skinner MBE your show was superb.
