The Greatest Magic Show – 5*****

| On 03, Aug 2023

It takes quite a high opinion of yourself to title your show ‘The Greatest Magic Show’ however before the show even starts we were fully entertained and engaged. As we queued outside we were met with the ringmaster, handing out wands to all the children and his booming voice and very clever use of language had us grinning before we even entered.

As we wait there are several contraptions on stage to intrigue us and then the ringmaster is back to ramp up our energy and within 2 minutes we are all giggling and screaming at the stage. I wasn’t sure if this was a magic show or a bit of panto but as the infectious energy fills the room you can’t help but get carried away with it all.

The ringmaster tells us a tale of travel and high adventure in search of the greatest magic show and in not being able to find just that he decided to create it, with the help of Sam and Justin (who are the actual magicians who will be entertaining you for the majority) they put on quite the spectacle! Filled with audience interaction and constant non-stop laughter the trio are ferocious in never missing a moment to either make us laugh or surprise us with some fun magic. Magic coins, a shoe machine, undies, giant wands, you get the picture.

My children were engaged throughout and had magic competitions all the way home. As you leave you get the chance to photograph with the ringmaster and I overheard one audience member comment this was their second time and they came on opening night and would probably come again this month. This is a testament to what a solid hour this is. You will be spellbound!
