Comedian Rosie Holt brings her condescending Tory alter ego Rosie Holt MP back to the Fringe.

Things have changed for Rosie Holt MP over the last couple of months. Labour has swept into power, which is horrible timing as she is shamelessly pushing her new book Rosie Holt MP : Why We Were Right, trying to justify what the Conservatives did to the country.

Plus in last throws of a desperate opportunist has jumped ship to the country’s new overlords.
Don’t worry, this lady is still not for turning on her controversial views, offering insights into what went on behind the scenes in Covid parties “It wasn’t a party, Boris was attacked by cake” and how until Sue Gray interviews her she cannot confirm or deny she attended them.

Part stand up, part interview everyone is fair game, with Holt coming over as a cross between Liz Trust, Priti Patel with a smattering of Alan B’stard/Alan Partridge.
To show her ruthlessness she was asked about why she defected to Labour, and in true Tory blue style explained it was to influence change from the current change promised by her new party, just slightly less extreme as the other lot.

Political comedy is plentiful in the Fringe, but Holt is the best in the business. Catch her (and buy her book) while you can.
