Created by David Bates, La Clique was born at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2004. It continues to wow audiences with its unique jaw dropping circus and outrageous antics.

This year’s show is as brilliant as ever – even if you have seen it before you will continue to be amazed by the performers’ power, skill and strength.

The aerial performances are outstanding. Your heart is in your mouth as they perform the most unbelievable routines. Miranda Menzie, our local girl who grew up in Edinburgh, performs an aerial contortion routine with the rope attached to her hair (this certainly brought a tear to my eye). LJ Marles provides his own unique style on aerial tension straps. An incredible routine by Oscar Kaufman using a Hat stand as a prop as he flies around the Aerial pole with ease and elegance. Mikel Bres defies gravity with his outstanding performance on the Chinese Pole.

Keeping the show flowing are the Daredevil Chickens with their hilarious and outrageous antics that involve costume changes and bananas (watch out people in the front row).

Tara Boom (the queen of chaos) provides a hilarious hula hoop popcorn dance but also has you mesmerised later in the show by her amazing foot juggling umbrella act.

Miranda Menzies returns to the stage, performing acrobatics with a giant balloon.

To add further to the thrill of the evening, there is a jaw dropping (quite literally) sword swallowing performance by Heather Holiday.

This outstanding comedy circus act will have you sitting on the edge of your seat.
