Welcome aboard the Yellow Rubber Duckie! Head First Acrobats are back with another rip-roaring adventure. The trio of sailors are again on a mission to find treasure, and to finally establish which of the boys is the captain! This is truly a wonderful children’s show. The banter between the crew is wonderful to see, very funny and there are plenty of jokes just for the parents. They are truly talented circus performers, whether they are juggling, dancing with mops, miming, back-flipping or performing in a giant hoop. There is a heart-stopping section of the show involving a ladder, which is worth the ticket price itself.
The show is very similar to last year’s but more refined and slick. The Circus Hub on the Meadows is an excellent venue, feeling like a real old fashioned circus tent and with unobstructed viewing. There is an opportunity to meet the boys after the show too, which I was more keen to do than my daughter!
This show is advertised for children over the age of five, but is actually suitable for children of all ages. It’s also worth noting that children under 2 go free. Go and see this show – its brilliant.
