Fall of Man - One4Review

Red Shift Theatre always bring with them their reputation of producing fine theatrical productions and this one is no exception. The Fall of Man is an adaptation of Milton’s Paradise Lost by Graham Holloway who also co-directs with performer Graeme Ross, sets the action in and around the bed of Slovinian nanny Veronica, Stephanie Day,  when Peter, Graeme Ross, the father of the children she looks after, joins her in the early hours of the morning. Their affair is on borrowed time and during the course of the play it hits a downward spiral, totally out of control into destruction. In the intimate space, barely lit by small domestic light bulbs, good performances are drawn from both performers in this strong hard hitting performance that does contain nudity and strong language. A thoroughly worthwhile performance and definitely worth checking out.   ****
