This post-apocalyptic musical reminded me of a cross between We Will Rock You (the premise) and BioShock (the recorded voices). Unfortunately not much happens. True, there are love stories, parental defiance and a longing for a better world out there but it’s quite slow and in the end we don’t actually find out what happens! Is there a better world? Who is transmitting stuff? How can you still buy guitar strings after a nuclear war? That’s a flippant comment but there are lots of things like that which just don’t ring true.

There are a few poignant moments (the deaths) and some good singing and it’s nice to have a live band even if they are sometimes too loud. But in the end I wished for more answers and storline.
