There is no doubt in my mind that Andrew Maxwell is an excellent comedian. He is intelligent, funny knows how to work the room and is a total entertainer.

On a strangely subdued Saturday night Maxwell was maybe having to work slightly harder than he expected, but ever the consummate professional he soon had people going with him on his journey.

Maxwell has opinions on a lot of things, his love of the Scottish Borders, but is less than happy with the Scottish First Minister, his football teams, as an Irishman raising English kids, Red Squirrels and his love of ‘Police TV’ are just a few topics of conversation.

Maxwell is a much travelled individual and has hilarious anecdotes to share on Germany, Norway, The Midwest States and Vegas. It doesn’t really matter what or where he talks about he generates laughs while being informative at the same time.

Maxwell always introduces himself as ‘Your Clown’. In one way that is true for its guaranteed laughter, but he is now clown in the ‘idiot’ way, just an articulate guy thoroughly enjoying doing an excellent job.
