Craig Campbell has been thrilling audiences for a while now and I was unsurprised to see the show I attended was a sell-out, it is becoming the norm with this larger than life Devon based Canadian comic.

Campbell has ability and comedy talent as big as he is and as abundant as his hair. He has a set packed with anecdote and material but is just as happy to riff with the audience as well, so there is never a moment in this hour when the pace dropped.

His anecdotal stuff was always self-deprecating be it about himself, his motorbike or his homeland  and the story behind his crushed finger, bike road home and even an electric fence adventure are worth the admission money alone.

I would like to put this to the test but would not be surprised that you could see Campbell on a different night and get a substantially different performance such is the abundance of stuff at his disposal and his genuine knowledge about so much.

I suspect tickets will be at a premium for the rest of his run, but if there is one available grab it with both hands.
