A delightful and enchanting tale which whisks you right into the heart of Welsh folklore. The story is that of two warring dragons, one red and the other white, the red dragon has laid an egg and has entrusted the egg to a goddess to care for while she had to fight. The tale is that of the safety of the egg and the developing character of the man who ends up being it’s companion along with a delightful little dog. Together they travel and care for the egg despite the best advances of the white serpent and while things don’t always remain as smooth as they like, they do manage to completely mesmerise the audience. The award winning puppeteers have produced a truly magical show which is a privilege to be part of the audience for, and the Welsh narrative only adds to the authenticity of this show. we thoroughly enjoyed watching this and would more than likely return if it were to come back to Edinburgh.
