Laura Lexx – Tyrannosaurus Lexx 4**** - One4Review

Laura Lexx – Tyrannosaurus Lexx 4****

| On 10, Aug 2016

Laura Lexx is something of an anomaly at the Fringe this year she is a happy comedian. She has recently got married, and found the experience more difficult than she imagined. But she loves her husband and the things that go with it.
She relates stories about her small flat, a judgmental vacuum cleaner, mortages, bathroom scales, and how she came by her short hair are all subjects that this exceptionally funny and talented pocket rocket of a comedian talked about. Her imagination is fertile, witness conversations between wildebeasts being chased by lions in Africa, with a little bit of misdirection along the way
Ms Lexx has withdrawn from social media totally… well at least in the mornings and has a delightful parallel as to why, she is sarcastic, sharp, sassy, smiley and a feminist, she tells gags, she is observational, in fact an all-round comedian.
I saw Laura perform her 2015 show Lovely which it was. This one however is at least a level up. The Tyrannosaurus Rex was a huge dinosaur that died out, yet I’m convinced Laura has the talent to be just as large comedically and more than survive for a long time.
