Glenn Moore – The Very Best of Belinda Carlisle 4**** - One4Review

Glenn Moore – The Very Best of Belinda Carlisle 4****

| On 10, Aug 2017

No one could ever accuse Glenn Moore of short changing them in this, his difficult second, Edinburgh hour as he packs in soooo much material one probably gets ninety minutes worth of laughs for the price of sixty.

Moore is posher than posh and dressed in tweed for his sauna of a venue may not have been the best choice. But never one to duck a challenge after gradually warming up the crowd he is off and running, relating this year’s tory from his earlier life.
The story is peppered with characters his parents, grandfather, a waitress at TGIF, Evan who seems to own everything, Kate, a waitress, later doctor and girlfriend and these all play a part as Glenn decides to discover the mystery of a missing girl Valerie who nobody seems to be doing anything about.

The story unfolds during a delightful hour, Moore weaving tons of laughs and occasional puns throughout. His delivery, all be it machine gun paced is clear and precise throughout.

So does he solve the mystery and get the girl? There is only one way to find out. And you will be sure of a great comedy hour.
