Ivo Graham is another of the mid-twenties middle class white male comics that seem to come off a conveyor belt in middle England somewhere but this does not detract in any way from his popularity or his material.
The sold-out show I attended were up and ready for a good time and there was no doubt this old Etonian provided it and then some. He looked back at his life from Eton, an appearance on a TV quiz show, Inter railing, parental holiday even at the age of 26, and he is competitive. When he sets himself a challenge he really goes for it. London Marathon? Yep and with a really good time, being his girlfriend’s longest lasting partner, another result for Mr Graham.
His early show questioning of the front row on whether they were registered to vote although seemingly a lead in to Brexit was brought to fruition as this champagne socialist who agrees with some tory policies proves to everyone what lengths he will go to to win a challenge, he is even competitive with himself, keeping a running total.
There are certainly plenty of gifted comics around currently and perhaps being up for a challenge is a good thing, but given his innate talent maybe he won’t have to try as hard as some to succeed, yet if he does well he’s up for it.
