There is no getting away from the fact that Jenny Bede is a triple threat in entertainment terms, she can sing, she can act and yes, she can dance yet with all this going for her is she totally happy? Hmm.
With all her friends producing off spring and her mother making overt comments, Ms Bede has decided that with her biological clock ticking ever louder that maybe it’s time she joined in, but the end of a relationship and no obvious replacement on the horizon there is obviously a slight problem.
Throughout the hour she leads the audience through a well thought out and funny set and delivered with verve and energy, but perhaps the ‘safe’ subjects of dating apps Tinder and Bumble , dating millenniums who love gadgets and hate PDA’s, even her own take on chickens and Nandos occasionally do not make the impression she, and we, hoped for.
Jenny is known as a musical comedian with millions of YouTube hits to her name and the songs she interspersed the stand up with were generally stronger in my opinion. This is a nice show from a talented performer who undoubtedly has a good future in the business.
