If ever there was a show title that summed up the performer’s demeanour, then this is the one. Almost running into her venue Maise Adam is smiling from the get-go, she is doing a job she loves, performing to a live audience, in a space that holds memories for her, and life is going well. Obviously she is buzzed about it all.

She is an engaging comic and has a locker full of funny, laugh out loud material, honed to entertain her sell-out crowd.

Anyone who has seen her on TV, and she is on a fair amount, will know her distinctive hairstyle, something that is addressed up front, telling stories of its creation, of course well larded with laughs prior to moving onto material about Zoom gigs, twitter abuse, lockdown living, house plants and a reality check on how her fame was going when a team captain on Have I got News for You called her by the wrong name for the whole recording.

Maisie has recently got engaged and is in the throes of wedding planning. She leads us through the proposal, the wedding itself, the vows wording, speeches, even the booking of the honeymoon, talking sense, posing questions yet always able to mine comedy material.

Maisie was a good footballer in her youth, is a Lioness supporter and like all, hopes their recent victory opens up the games to more women and girls. There is of course a couple of football-based stories to close out, one with VT and then it was all over, well it is now.

Do try and see her, and I say try advisably. This excellent hour is selling out daily, don’t wait too long.
